Higher frame rate and lower data rate by using compression (only YV12/IYUV format)
With the new option "Number of Reductions" (default 2) you can control the ratio of encoding speed to video quality. Following values are possible:
0 .. No reductions, best quality, highest processor load, lowest encoding speed, and lowest frame rate
1 .. Less calculations during encoding. Some higher frame rate.
2 .. Even less calculations. Even higher frame rate. Quality sufficient in most cases.
3 .. As many calculations as with the value 2. In addition, the variable length coding is omited. Highest frame rate, but also highest data rate.
The PixelCorrection option is for correction of a special pixel defect (some reverse columns), activation is probably required only on the HTC S310

Setup instruction:

Download and extract the ZIP package
Copy VgCam.exe onto device and start it there
On PC run VgCamSetup.exe. It sets the video format and also registers the DLL.
Check the preview with VgCamView.exe. Close it before the next step.
In the webcam setup of the desired application select "VG Camera" as camera source
If you want to connect the device via network, choose Settings - Destination Address, and input the IP address of the network adapter of the PC, e.g. 192.168.0.1, or the host name of the PC

Remark: If your device displays the YV12 FourCC then set this value to IYUV in the setup program.
